Bandcamp is clamping down on AI-generated music, which is good, fits its vibes, and which as a person who likes to shop there I appreciate. I don't have an orthodox position here. If someone uses some bot to generate a weird artifact, samples it, loops it, and manipulates it, then I'm glad to hear it; that's just what musicians do. Bandcamp leaves the door open to experiment in those ways while also saying: Don't shovel slop here, and don't fake other artists. I hope it works and enforcement works well.
