Mild flu, moderate exhaustion. I took a short bike ride last night and felt myself wobbling, exhausted; I crashed out last night at 6PM and slept 15 hours; finished that up with a nap this afternoon. I've been working constantly for a month, every possible moment dedicated either to quitting my last job, starting a new one, traveling to Austin, moving my apartment, riding my bike, and so forth.
I burned out, finally--caffeine and high nerves not enough to keep me going. Still it seems to be a slightly, moderate, semi-cold that I will be able to work through. Nothing is more important than work right now.
[Wife] wants me to do this again--it helps her--so I shall. And upon weighing myself I find that in the intervening weeks, avoiding this site, I have neither gained nor lost. That is thanks to some moderation (not enough); not to exercise; but most definitely to stress. She is annoyed. But 70 lbs. remain to go. That's 50 for the doctor to be happy, 20 for me.
I'll need some new suits and shoes. I keep ending up in strange environments where my slightly beat-up clothes won't cut it.
