We're going through co-op board review for our new rental--we're moving--and it's got our back up. "Bank account number and social security number?" We're enraged; we refuse to submit. Of course when we talk to the people involved everyone is calm; no that's fine; don't worry; just get us the paperwork. So many little red-tape dictators in the world, but when you make eye contact they just turn into uncles and aunts.
