I met this dude last night that reminded me of how crap my game has become. He basically laid out all of the problems we've been going through, and with devastating clarity--and making clear to me exactly how powerless I am to help or fix anything.
He operates the way the rich, or criminals, operate: intuitive about power. I'd forgotten what it's like to be around people like that; I wanted to go be his student. I'm sure that wouldn't work. But every now and then you run across someone masterful and go: hells yes.
