Have to travel again tomorrow; missing working on this website (and the other websites under my supervision).
Had this vision coming to work today: what if I stayed on the train and didn't get off? What would happen? Apparently an autistic kid did that; he made it 10 or 11 days before the cops found him.
In my fantasy they have a room for all the people who can't get off the train. It's made up to look like a train, of course. The janitorial workers are the ones who find you. They're trained to lead you off the train and back to the tunnels, to the special room. Some people are wearing 90s sweaters; some are wearing fedoras; some are wearing fatigues from Vietnam. No one talks. You can leave whenever you want, and sometimes people do, but from year to year the room stays full.
