Last night I took the Wmsbg. Bridge and had to route around a traffic mess, cops and yellow tape and one-lane traffic making Delancey even more hectic than usual. There were cops everywhere. It turned out that a schoolbus hit a cyclist two hours earlier in bright daylight. The bus was backing up. The cyclist was trying to get away, but hit a pothole and bounced off her bike. The bus backed up over her while people yelled at the driver to stop. I know the exact pothole that killed her, near Ludlow St., and I saw the bus. I am dwelling on it. Poor woman.
