We spent a podcast talking about Dario Amodei's recent essay. I'm not exactly a fan of any CEO, nor should anyone be—they/we all act on behalf of our enterprises, not in the general interest. But I do appreciate that Amodei is consistent: If you read him a few years ago, he sounds the same today. He's got a belief system, he builds accordingly, and he's capable of saying “no” to things. Basically I trust him to speak clearly in public around the goals and interests of his corporation, and not to change policy or strategy on a whim—which is sadly a very high bar in 2026. "
