Waiting for the F
The stone solid chewing gum
Our Zen rock garden
"I was so lonely
But the secret for me is
All about the gym."
"I don't mean to beg--
Spare, please, some food or quarters
Anything, dollars."
The dark bodega
Sodium streetlight yellow
Blanketed and soft
Into the gratings
The merging voices settle
Down like upstate snow
I'm sorry but could
You move to the bar if you
Only want to drink
